Not all mushrooms are created equal – read the Myconica process below:
Water
As you may know, freshly picked mushrooms contain around 90% water content by weight. After drying, minerals and impurities from the water are left behind in the final product. For this reason, it is important to start with a pure water base and add only what is required for mushroom growth.
Myconica production starts with ultra-pure 0 ppm reverse osmosis water – close to the quality from distillation. The water is then remineralized using natural FDA approved calcite to balance pH and introduce fundamental minerals.
The Myconica water purification system has:
- Very high effectiveness in removing:
- bacteria, viruses, and protozoa
- sodium, chlorine/chloride, copper, chromium, lead
- Significant reduction in:
- fluoride, radium, sulfate, calcium, magnesium, potassium, nitrate, phosphorous, and other VOCs (volatile organic compounds)
Ingredients
Myconica mycelium is grown only on locally sourced, certified organic rye grain. The grains are unprocessed, and in whole kernel form. Rye is rich in antioxidants and high in fiber, which makes them excellent food for mushrooms.
Certified organic and ethically sourced coconut husk is used as an environmentally friendly growing media substrate.
Drying
After harvest, Myconica mushrooms are air dried at low heat to preserve psilocybin effectiveness. Afterwards, mushrooms are desiccant-cured to remove any remaining moisture content. Mushrooms that are well dried will save you money by paying for less water content and preserve for many years.
